This weekend I had the distinct pleasure of attending a talk and answer session by Wade Davis in Guelph.  “Distinct pleasure” sounds really stilted and bad, but it was a pleasure and it was distinct, so there we go. Back to School

Just can’t get me enough of that sweet old education.  This week I started up the next chapter in my studies: Advanced Interactive Media at Fanshawe College.  (It’s called “multi” in the official literature, but the co-ordinator says “interactive” is its true spirit; it’s just that changing anything at the college requires olympic level hoop jumping.) It’s roughly the optional third year of the Multi Media Design and Production I finished this past Spring.

After one week, colour me the colour of hype.  While it’s not going to get me to finish writing that play and novel and film script I’ve been meaning to start, there is a lot of tremendously exciting opportunities involved in the program. Read the rest of this entry »
